I had a recurring dream as a child. In my dream, I rode a train, wondering when I would finally reach my destination. Soon I realized that it wasn’t an ordinary train journey but a quintessential symbol of human existence. As we traverse the hills and valleys of life, the destination remains within us, as does the journey, as does the place of departure — paradoxically intertwined. And so, it was only natural to associate my creative journey with a train voyage. After all, my art is my life: it helps me to stay balanced, true to my inner self; it is the metaphysical thread that helps me find my way in darkness.

Seeing myself present at the central Junction (this website can be considered the central Junction, even if it doesn’t look like it), on board of every train, and at every destination simultaneously helps me to make sense of this reality. It may sound counterintuitive. And yet, somehow, it feels vastly intuitive to me.

Stories of Hope & Inner Peace (SOHAIP) invites you into the observation car. Here, you are invited to walk beside characters who seek hope, peace, and inner balance along winding, illusory, and at times bizarre paths of their destinies.

These journeys are mirrors: mystical portals that invite ghosts of self-reflection, spirits of discovery, and kindle the light of quiet change.

The roots of this entire universe run deep; its original blueprint was subconsciously mapped out in a regular, unillustrated manuscript I penned over twenty years ago—an ancient logbook I am restoring today. It may find the light of day as a text, or it may become another paper-craft journey. 

SOHAIP's visual landscape is delightful, odd, and often humorous. Inspired by medieval illustrations where meaning outweighs realism, the artworks reflect life’s challenges through naive imagery and symbolic play. Even amid complex emotions or dramatic storyline events, the style stays light-hearted, offering a smile through the turmoil.  

Each piece begins with a feeling—an emotional thread or idea waiting to be seen. I sketch intuitively, then build the image digitally, layering textures until the balance, clarity, and intensity feel just right. 

I am currently exploring the option of creating illustrations out of printed characters and sets. Whether I choose a fully digital or partially paper-craft path, the core style will remain the same. 

The scripts, texts, and speeches are free-flowing insights. Sometimes, they may seem fragmented or strange. Still, despite the occasional apparent abstractness, they reflect my attempt at clear self-expression, follow the characters' journeys, and remain true to my goal as a creator: to seek hope and inner peace.
