As the Sword cuts through the matrix of time, I see the essence of all.
The word matrix has many meanings.
I like the following ones. They describe what I see better than any other.
1
a. archaic: uterus
b. the intercellular substance of a tissue (as cartilage)
c. the thickened epithelium at the base of a fingernail or toenail from which new nail substance develops
2
a. something (as a surrounding or pervading substance or element) within which something else originates or takes form or develops <an atmosphere of understanding and friendliness that is the matrix of peace>
b. a place or point of origin or growth: cradle
From unabridged.merriam-webster.com
The Sword cuts through it all.
It reveals.
It may possess you. It may hurt you and others.
But, metaphorically speaking, it, first and foremost, reveals.
I felt I had to place "metaphorically speaking"
since my occasionally literal mind went straight to revealing internal organs.
The Sword on the wall has always been a preparation for a revelation to me.
I wield it, and I will know all I must.
The Sword cuts through illusions,
but sometimes, as seen in the cards like the 9 of Swords,
An individual refuses to wield one.
He wants not to experience pain.
He wants not to cry.
Yet, he is sobbing already.
The Sword continues doing what a sword does.
There comes a time when one must let go of it.
The time comes to place it back on the wall.
Unless she wants to be imprisoned in endless ruminations.
Knowledge is precious.
However,
The human spirit needs to move, act, form, and experiment.
The fire within inspires me.
It makes me do silly things.
It makes me powerful.
It makes me weak.
Aw, the wand - the powerful artifact of creativity and creation.
Many want to wield it - learn how to harness its magical powers.
Still, many fall under its weight.
Crushed, punched-in, dispirited, deprived of enthusiastic joy.
To wield the wand, patience is required.
To harness its powers, we must accept its destructive properties as much as we accept its creative ones.
We must accept the danger and learn how to respect the limitations.
We raise it up.
We form the world.
We let go of the wand.
Can the fire burn the reality?
Believe it or not, it can.
So students of the wand,
Let me call them so for a dramatic effect,
Must know when to wield and when to let go.
It is not about money. It is about the structure of the reality we live in.
What is real and what is not?
We can poke the matrix as long as we want,
And never learn the truth.
So, we build it.
We make decisions.
We say, "This is real.
Our lives are real. Our needs, wants, objects, and feelings are real.
Our laws are real. Our lawlessness is real.
Our understanding of reality is real."
We often associate the foundation of reality with money.
We may not think of it this way.
Still, in our world, money matters.
So, are Pentacles = money?
Yes and no.
Pentacles, once again, are whatever we believe is real.
And by real, I mean observed, felt, sensed, experienced.
So, in a way, reality is built from Pentacle blocks—
their circular nature echoing coins, symbols of money—
and, at the same time, they stand for the ephemerality
of the world we insist on calling 'real'.
To clarify.
When I said, "they stand for the ephemerality",
I meant their circular nature symbolizes it.
And how do we know something is "real"?
We feel it, of course.
😁
Oh, the emotions, the never-ending ebb and flow of intuitive insights!
Oh, the poetry of it all.
The cup is never full or empty if we experience all emotions as one stream.
The stream.
The green, blue, aqua-marine river carries us into the world we have imagined,
Along the shorelines of memories and dreams,
Through the fog of delusions.
The river empowers us.
It may play games with us at times:
It curves, it weakens and strengthens its flow,
It challenges us with its whirlpools.
Despite its childish attacks,
Its pushes and pulls,
The river is our friend.
Once we learn to ride the wild waters,
Once we find joy in mastering the flow,
The river will become our forever guide and champion.
