A golden coin has risen above the scorching Sun.
What does it mean?
Does our silly ball of yarn with all its little plots and glittery sparkles come undone?
Do the golden threads of our omnipotent destinies fall apart and burn?
Tell me — who rolled it, who spun it so poorly?
Or maybe nothing is happening - nothing at all.
Everything hangs in place just as it should.
The coin hasn't risen, but it's always been there in this particular spot.
And the Sun shines as it always does, while the strange creature roams somebody's dreams.
And all those symbols
preserved by a craftsman's steady hand on a piece of gold maintain their powerful presence.
Simplicity at its best, complexity at its worst - just life, nothing else.
Nothing to hate, nothing to toast.
Yet, we always want more
And rest our minds on a cozy shore of wishing.
Is it because we are human?
Human.
Always on a verge of vanishing -
Erased by the bright-eyed host.
The question is the answer.
While the answer is Kalioso.
-----------------------
Kalioso — the quiet thread between the inner light and the universal light; the gentle capacity to sense, understand, and appreciate their unity.**

Cultural and Linguistic Resonances
1. Greek — Beauty as Clarity and Recognition
• kalos / kallos: beautiful, noble, harmonious
• Calliope: “beautiful voice,” the Muse who awakens understanding
• Kallistos: “most beautiful,” used for what is admired or revered
In Greek thought, beauty is not merely appearance — it is perceptive clarity, the ability to recognize harmony.
This mirrors Kalioso as the inner recognition of outer truth.
2. Romance Languages — “Full of” or “Rich in”
The ‑oso / ‑oso(h) ending in Spanish and Italian suggests:
• full of
• abundant in
• rich with
This gives Kalioso the sense of being full of appreciation, rich in perceptive warmth, or abundant in quiet understanding.
3. Slavic Echoes — The Wheel and the Sun
The Russian колесо (kolesó), “wheel,” shares a similar sound‑shape.
In Slavic symbolism:
• the wheel is a Sun
• the Sun is perception
• perception is the inner light that lets us see
This connects Kalioso to cycles of awareness, the turning of inner and outer light toward each other.
4. Mythic Imagery — The Eye Containing the Sky
Across many mythologies, the eye is a microcosm of the heavens:
• the pupil as the Sun
• the iris as the sky
• the gaze as illumination
Kalioso fits this image as the thread between the inner Sun and the outer Sun, the moment when perception recognizes its own reflection in the world.

Let’s focus on the following colors: warm yellows, oranges, and green. They generally indicate the positive nature of the symbolism in typical life‑situation spreads. The philosophical implications described in the poem above are better suited for self‑exploration, where the entire color palette of the image becomes relevant.
The warm yellows and greens — the colors of the Sun and growth, as well as the colors of dreams and daydreaming — are balanced by the coolness of blue, green‑blue, and sea‑green. These cooler tones represent mental processing, weighing options, and developing concepts of justice and social balance. This combination reminds us that the Ace of Pentacles often presents a question rather than an answer: “How does one find balance between comfort and mentally defined rules, meanings, and purpose?”
The symbols inside the coin are Egyptian hieroglyphs. As the cards were drawn, inspiration came from the so‑called Egyptian tarot deck, which explains their presence. Their meaning relates to wealth, from which material well‑being stems.
In the center of the coin, there is a star — a traditional symbol used for pentacles. There is nothing unusual about it unless one chooses to dive deeper into European esoteric traditions.
Inside the star, there is a divided circle and a solid one. You may not see it at first, but together they resemble a breast — specifically, a mother’s breast, a symbol of nurture. This is a reminder of how comforting pure nurture can be: the kind that belongs to us, that we do not borrow from anyone, that does not enflame pride but simply sustains. Mixed with this is another kind of comfort — the sweetness of memories (false or real), of what was or could have been. Within the balance between these two ideas, we find what we seek; we find knowledge.
The Sun, of course, is the ultimate symbol of wealth — our life — even if we don’t always feel that way.
As for the color, which is very similar to Canyon Clay in The Tarot of the Fool, it serves as another reminder of the limitations of our consciousness (see Ace of Swords). In the case of the Ace of Pentacles, these limitations do not prevent us from living balanced lives or from feeling and living well.
Moving to the top of the card: the creature above the coin is a stylized, wiggly hippopotamus. The animal symbolizes maternity and nurture. Yet here, the creature is a dream — an ephemeral idea of nurture — and it floats above everything else. Simply put, all we need is love, ta‑ta‑da‑da‑da. But seriously, most human beings desire comfort (which is still a form of nurture) and a loving atmosphere. We see it as well‑being, and financial wealth is sometimes perceived as a path toward it. Of course, it is only one small piece of a much larger whole, but I will move on for now.
The next card is Ace of Cups (1 of Cups).

Take a deep breath and focus on the essence of your question.

We all possess the answers we seek — even if we’re tired of hearing that phrase, it remains true. Those answers may be tiny flickers in the dark or bright as the sun. Sometimes, to understand the nudges and clues of our subconscious mind, intuition, the Universe, god, or the spirit world (whatever you prefer), we need a tool. Tarot — in this case, Tarot of the Fool by Astore Faber — can become that tool. It can help us awaken, clarify, or interpret those answers.
Still, tarot is just a tool — a way of playing with symbols and letting the mind speak in its own language. It’s not meant to replace professional guidance, medical or otherwise. If something in your life needs real‑world attention, please turn to someone qualified to help. The cards can offer insight, but the choices — and the responsibility — remain yours.
